Opt 2 Restore

Opt2Restore is a rehabilitation-led practice that helps older adults recover safely and keep living at home. Founder and CEO Dr. Comfort Uwadiae, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist and Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist who evaluates both the home and how the person gets around in it, then gives clear, prioritized recommendations. Services include home safety and aging-in-place assessments, home modification guidance, fall prevention, and care transition support before and after a hospital discharge. In-home physical therapy for strength, balance and recovery after surgery or a neurological event is provided in Nassau County through her affiliated practice, Opt Physical Therapy Rehabilitation, PLLC, which accepts Medicare and private pay. Aging-in-place and care transition services reach all of Long Island, New York City and parts of Westchester, and virtual assessments are also offered. The practice runs caregiver workshops and ergonomics consulting for organizations. A free 15-minute consultation is the starting point.
