Senior Living Consultants of New York is a placement and advisory service that helps older adults and their families choose an independent living, assisted living or memory care community. Co-founders Beth Weeks, a registered nurse with nearly 25 years in senior living, and Paul Cravinho previously worked together at a Manhattan community. Every search starts with a pre-screening assessment by a nurse to sort out care needs, followed by a one-on-one consultation and a plan that the team supports through the entire move. The service costs nothing for families, and professionals in the senior care field can refer clients at no charge, for urgent moves as well as early planning. Team member Enza Ferrante, a social worker by training, speaks Italian, Spanish and American Sign Language. Its territory runs from Long Island through every New York City borough to Westchester and Fairfield County, Connecticut.
