The Organized Guy

The Organized Guy is a professional organizing and decluttering company in Massapequa, founded by Vincent Giacalone in 2014, that works with clients from Manhattan to Montauk. Seniors and their families going through downsizing or a move are a particular focus. Clients decide what to keep, donate or discard with guidance along the way, and the crew handles the physical work, including heavy lifting. Once unwanted items are gone, each space is arranged around how the person actually lives, using storage systems meant to be easy to keep up. Projects follow three steps: a virtual consultation that sets goals and estimates time, materials and cost; a written plan with scheduled tasks; and hands-on sessions with progress reviews after each one. Packages range from smaller jobs to whole-home overhauls, with options for life transitions, moves, storage solutions and ongoing maintenance. The company follows the NAPO code of ethics.
